Sajee Madarasinghe joined Baumgartner Super in 2019 and was promoted to Director in July 2022. She has a wealth of experience acquired throughout a professional career of working in a range of public practice firms, including the Big 4, here and in Sri Lanka.
Her position as Director involves a number of leadership roles including client relations and people management, the latter which allowed Sajee to develop a comprehensive career roadmap for Baumgartner Super’s audit staff that enhances our close knit, family oriented and positive culture. Prior to that, Sajee performed a key role in streamlining and evolving our audit processes and efficiencies.
In addition to reviewing and signing off SMSF audits, Sajee relishes the opportunity to enhance her people management and mentoring skills, supporting our team and building fantastic client relationships combining technical expertise and service excellence founded on years of SMSF industry knowledge. She enjoys the mix, the mentoring and celebrating each person’s success, which is rewarding.
After hours Sajee relishes her personal downtime which is the perfect antidote to running around after her two energetic sons. When unable to nurture her culinary skills, her family enjoys taking in as much cricket as they can. Sajee is also a native Singhalese speaker.
It’s important to work collaboratively with your auditor which Sajee endorses by reminding accountants that you can always talk with our team and work together to diffuse any issues before they become potentially problematic audit review points.
